The DEVIN 500 Ton Coil Tubing Lift Frame was designed to fill the gap between the DEVIN 350 ton category and the 750 ton category of frames, all of which were to improve the performance of coil tubing, logging, or snubbing services while working offshore from a drill ship or semi-submersible drilling rig. All DEVIN lifting frames are designed to provide a motion compensated connection onto which the injector head, wireline sheave, snubbing stack, as well as pressure control equipment, can be deployed. Each structure is fitted with a 25 Ton Winch and an Electronic Dynamometer with remote.
The DEVIN 500 ton frame features an extra-wide 102" I.D. which can accommodate the largest injector heads working today and this unit has the ability to articulate for easier access to the well area and handling in the derrick.
As with the 350 ton and 750 ton frames DEVIN provides, the DEVIN 500 Ton Coil Tubing Lift Frame offers a safer, more economic option for deep water service.

Purpose:

• Allows service equipment (i.e. coiled tubing, logging, snubbing) to work from the motion compensator of the rig when working on drill ships, floaters and semi-submersibles.
• Keeps service equipment aligned with crown block and work string (i.e. drill pipe, production tubing, etc.)
• Allows for a safe work area around the injector head with 2 adjustable work platforms. 25 ton winch allows easy handling of support equipment.
• Articulates for easy access through the V-door.
• Safer, more economic option for deep water service.
• Load Cell allows for accurate reading of service equipment weight up to 50k.
• Frame rated to handle 1500k string weight.
